One Response to “2012 Candidates”

  • At the Michigan State Convention, I will be seeking the U.S. Taxpayers Party of Michigan’s nomination as the party candidate for Representative of the 36th District of the Michigan Legislature. The revised 36th district for the 2012-2020 elections include Bruce Township, Romeo, Washington Township (my home), and western and northern sections of Shelby Township. The 36th district’s boundary in Shelby Township follows the Clinton River and is the area South and West of the River until its junction with Ryan Road. The small, pointy shaped area North of the River and south of 22 Mile where it terminates at Ryan Road is the 30th District. The area West of Mound Road where it terminates at Shelby Road and the pointy area South of Shelby Road and North of 22 Mile is in the 36th District. Between Mound Road and M-53 the 36th District is north of 23 Mile Road and East of M-53 it is north of 22 Mile Road. It can be confusing. I intend to be at the 21 March meeting to hear the speaker, but also to introduce myself to anyone interested and discuss my views and what I plan to do if elected to represent my fellow residents of the 36th District.
