I am a loyal legal tax-paying American citizen. I have given 14 years of my life’s pay to the govt. I feel betrayed by the Democrats as they “pander to illegals and those that contribute nothing to society” (qoute I heard from a Brit running for office in England). The government seems to forget, that it is the legal taxpayer that feeds their endless hunger. Why should those who work hard, be punished and expected to carry the burden of the leaches of society? Illegals get 3 years of tax free income for new business( which they perpetuate by changing the business to an endless supply of relatives) , free medical when they go to emergency, even social security. Now California wants to give them special financial benefits for education. The only way White Americans get privileges is by working hard to achieve high grades. Minorities get more benefits.
We have no binding soul in this country because we have no official language. We spend at least hundreds of millions publishing govt. docs. in multi languages. We have people living in America that do not really want to be Americans that just like all the handouts and FREEDOMS our predecessors fought and died for. How do we tell them enough is enough!

One way to get their attention is to stop their source of income. The only way to do this is a NATIONAL STRIKE. We would have to get corporations on board so strikers would not be threatened. What do you think?

    • Hello Eric. Yes we have an email list and twitter. Different things go out for each. Twitter tweets when there are updates to the web site and if an email goes out. Email is usually reserved for notification of our events or specific alerts about legislation that we want the membership to know about. I will add you to the email list

What is the tea party’s opinion of Proposal 1? Also, who is the more conservative and the tea party’s choice between Grot and the other guy (can’t remember his name despite the endless signs). Thanks in advance!

  8. I am not hearing much about proposition 1…other than mailings telling me to vote YES and that it is good for small business. I know others confused on this issue. Is this another spread the wealth trickery? I haven’t received any mail or seen any tv commercial supporting vote no? How do I find out more about it…to then let others know as well.

    Thanks

What is the Tea Party Official position on the current Oil Well Drilling in Shelby Township?

    • The Romeo Area Tea Party doesn’t have an official position on this specific issue. We were not even aware of it until you brought it up. At this point we don’t know enough about it to have a position. As with all Tea Party groups we believe in Private Property rights. Not sure how this may or may not interfere with these rights. What do other conservative groups say about this drilling policy?
